Weekly News Round-Up

Tom Hardy wanted for Apocalypse?

According to The Wrap, Tom Hardy is up for the role of the titular villain Apocalypse, in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. No-one is officially signed on for the movie at the moment, so we'll have to wait and see if this comes to fruition. Hardy has also been up for a role in Suicide Squad, and was previously considered for Doctor Strange.
Which movie would you like to see Hardy take on?
Or perhaps a different comic book movie entirely?
I think he's a fantastic actor with a very broad range, but I'm not sure who I'd cast him as.
Perhaps Punisher? He would have undoubtedly made a brilliant Wolverine. He could definitely take on any number of hard-hitting heroes or baddies... Let us know who you'd cast him as in the comments below!

Robert Downey Jr. owns the Avengers 'A'

Yup. You read that correctly - Robert Downey Jr. was given the Avengers Tower 'A' prop by Marvel Studios. He already owns some of the Iron Man helmets used in the movies, but now he officially owns a 30-foot Avengers logo. According to BBC Radio 1, "On the last Avengers, there's this scene where there's this 'A' which is probably 30 feet tall and I'm looking at it, and we're shooting in England, and I go, 'I need that in my office in Venice. About two weeks ago, a wheeler showed up, I'm like 'What the heck is this doing here?!' And they go, 'This is the 'A' you asked for.' And I go, 'They brought it?!' So now we have a massive Avengers 'A' that will be prominently placed."
Just when you thought he couldn't get any cooler...
