Comic Pick Of The Week - 

Capture Creatures #1 and Rasputin #2

Two completely different comics, two comics that you need to read! 

Capture Creatures is just as adorable as you'd hope. Written by Frank Gibson and featuring artwork by Becky Dreistadt and Kelly Bastow, it has a similar vibe to the recent Lumberjanes and Bee & Puppycat. This delightful little book is perfect for both young and old and everything in between! Simple, funny, interesting and cute, it looks like its gonna be a glorious and fun book, definitely a welcome break from the intense, dark, word-heavy other titles of late! 

Rasputin is just as excellent as its first issue last month. With a story by Alex Grecian, it combines Riley Rossmo's stunning artwork with little in the way of words, yet gets across absolutely everything you could want and more. This is such a brilliant example of comic creation at its best, able to tell a compelling story in a handful of words that absolutely keeps you coming back every month. Outstanding.
